Where are we heading?Who is on the right side in this war?

I do think that we, the Pakistanis, have been caught in the line of fire, to use that much abhorred title of the book. From one side are we being targete by the Americans and from the other by the Taliban. And amidst this raging war, life seems to be going on in the metropolitan cities. The only difference is one nver knows when one is going to be blown up. I am sure that the majority of Pakistanis love Pakistan and are hurt at seeing what's happening here. Looking at the politicians, one comes across the classic case of Nero fiddling while Rome burnt. The point is that instead of blaming everything on Taliban or the Americans, we accept the fact that both are wrong. The neo-con lobby in America is pursuing its own blind agenda and the Taliban are no servants of Islam. But what are we ordianry Pakistanis going to do? Any comments?
